Registration Process in the GESY

1. Beneficiary who is registering for the first time and is a Yellow Slip holder

Necessary conditions for registration to be possible:
a) The child must be a Yellow Slip holder.
b) One of the two parents must already be registered in GESY and have a personal doctor.

Step 1
Send the following documents to contact@neocleousmedped.com
• Yellow Slip of the parent under whom the child will be registered
• Yellow Slip of the child
• The email should also include the parent's date of birth and citizenship

Step 2
You will receive a notification that the online application has been submitted. An appointment will then need to be scheduled, at which time you will present the following supporting documents:
• Yellow Slip of the parent under whom the child will be registered
• Yellow Slip of the child
• Proof of address (e.g. utility bill)
• Proof of parent-child relationship (birth certificate)
During the appointment, the doctor checks the supporting documents and prepares a file, which is handed over to you to send to the GHS Head Offices in Nicosia for further review and approval.

Step 3
After at least six (6) weeks from the date of sending the supporting documents, approval is expected.
Upon approval, the child's registration will take place immediately and you will be notified accordingly.

2. Beneficiary who is already registered in GESY with another Personal Pediatrician

Our philosophy is that frequent changes of pediatricians are not in the child's best interest, and should only be done for serious reasons.

If, nevertheless, you wish to change your Personal Doctor and the required period of time which allows for the change, according to the regulations, has elapsed, an appointment must be scheduled, at which you will present the following supporting documents:
• Birth certificate or Yellow Slip of the child
• Child's date of birth
